Artist Statement: From page to page and book to book, a reflection of story following story from teller to listener/reader over time from one version to the next. One page in sequence is reproduced from each of the editions of the Decameron as found in the Brotherton Library University of Leeds, the Main Library University of Manchester and my own shelves. The first page is taken from the first book, the second from the next and so on until the end of the first day.

Not sure about those hands everywhere I’m sure it doesn’t need all that support, but otherwise it looks great and a beautiful shade of powder cornflower blue for the cover. Well Done John!
